Volunteer Opportunities

Caritas offers a variety of ways for individuals and groups to donate their time, talents and resources to help people in our community who are in need of life’s basic essentials.

Food pantry volunteers are needed to sort, stock, and give out grocery orders to Caritas’ clients. Sometimes, volunteers are needed to repackage and bag food products.

Warehouse volunteers are used to sort and organize all arriving goods. Our warehouse volunteers contribute to a smooth and safe operation that keeps the inventory moving to our clients who need them the most.

Administrative volunteers are vital to our mailing efforts, as well as data input and general administration.

Hidden Treasures volunteers assist in making our stores a functional and welcoming environment for our customers. Volunteers are always needed to sort, polish, and organize.

Caritas committees need fresh ideas and new members. You can select from the Public Relations, Client Services, Fundraising, Thrift Stores and Clergy/Congregation committees.

In 2017, we had 2,908 volunteers clocking in
40,053 hours.That’s equivalent to $290,384.
